Proper appearance of pilgrims in the Monastery

 
Holy Monasteries are places of repentance and prayer. We should all respect the area of the Holy Monasteries and also Honour Virgin Mary and Prophet Elias, so we ask you to observe the decent clothing when you visit our Monasteries (however, this decent clothing should be observed in all Monasteries you may visit). Men should wear long pants and shirts with sleeves (t-shirts and not sleeveless shirts). Women should wear long dresses or long skirts and their tops should have sleeves (they shouldn't be sleeveless).

Deut. 22, 5- Old Testament: "A man shall not be a vessel for a woman, nor shall a man be clothed in a woman's garment, for that is an abomination to the Lord your God."
